What Is Calcium Carbonate?

Calcium Carbonate is a pharmaceutical raw material, which is mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry as an active ingredient for calcium supplementation and antacid formulations.

Calcium carbonate is made up of calcium and carbonate ions, so it is also called carbonic acid calcium salt.
