What Is Eriocitrin?

Eriocitrin is a natural flavanone glycoside predominantly found in citrus fruits, especially lemons (Citrus limon).  Lemon peel, pulp, and juice are the richest natural sources. With a water solubility of up to 4000 μg/mL — approximately 1000 times that of hesperidin — eriocitrin exhibits significantly higher bioavailability compared to other citrus flavonoids.
