What Is Aloin?
Aloin is a natural organic compound chemically known as aloin or Barbaloin, also known as aloin, aloin emodin, and aloin, with the chemical formula C21H22O91. Aloin crystallises as yellow acicular crystals in ethanol and is easily soluble in water, pyridine, glacial acetic acid, formic acid, acetone, methyl acetate and ethanol.
