Melatonine
What Is Melatonin?
Melatonin is one of the hormones secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. Melatonin belongs to indole heterocyclic compounds.
After melatonin is synthesized and stored in the pineal gland, sympathetic nerve excitation innervates pineal cells to release melatonin. Melatonin synthesis in mammals is controlled by the nervous system.
The secretion of melatonin has obvious circadian rhythm, the secretion is inhibited during the day, and the secretion is active at night.
Product Applications
1. Improve sleep quality: Melatonine can help the human body to shorten the time to fall asleep and wake up before going to bed, reduce the chance of waking up at night and deepen sleep, play a role in improving sleep quality.
2. Regulate the function of cardiovascular system: the function of cardiovascular system of human body has circadian rhythm and seasonal rhythm, and melatonin can regulate the circadian rhythm of human body, so it plays a certain role in regulating the function of cardiovascular system, helping to maintain the stability of blood pressure and heart rhythm.
3. Regulate the function of the central nervous system: Melatonine can be secreted by the pineal gland of the brain, which is an endogenous neurosecretory hormone. It can produce sedation and protect nerve cells, and play a direct or indirect role in the function of the nervous system.
4. Regulation of immune system function: Neuroendocrine signals have a significant impact on immune system function, so melatonin has the role of regulating cellular immunity and humoral immunity.
5. Prevent lesions: DNA damage in the human body is prone to cancer, and melatonin is easy to enter the cell, the DNA in the cell plays a protective role, can prevent lesions.
